UT Health San Antonio is following the State of Texas and the Center for Disease Control tiered prioritized COVID-19 vaccine distribution system. Currently, we are providing our first and limited supply of vaccine to UT Health San Antonio front line health care providers and essential personnel. Additionally, we are offering the vaccine to established, UT Health San Antonio primary care (family medicine, internal medicine) and geriatric care patients who meet the State and CDC’s tier 1B criteria. If you are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, please check with your primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, more information will be provided by the City of San Antonio on vaccine access for the community-at-large when more vaccine is made available to our city.
